Farewell and thank-you! Our Head of Primary and Class 2 Teacher, Mrs Willett, is retiring at the end of this term after over 20 years at Moor Hey. We would like to wish Mrs Willett a long, happy and healthy retirement.
Tuesday 24th March at 7pm in the school hall. Admission, which includes either a burger or vegetarian pizza, is just £3.00 for adults and £1.50 for children.
Welcome to new staff members After Easter, we welcome two new members of staff to our Senior Leadership Team. Mrs Padgeon will be joining us as Deputy Headteacher (from Great Arley Special School) and Mrs Rawal (from Broadfield Special School) will be our Assistant Headteacher and Head of Primary. We wish them a warm welcome and hope they soon settle into Moor Hey. Make Your Face Funny For Money! Thank you for all your generous donations today. The children had a wonderful time pulling funny faces and they had a great time at the Punch and Judy show! Easter Colouring Competition Our kitchen staff are running an Easter colouring competition. Children are invited to colour in the attached picture and return to school in time for judging at the special Easter meal on Friday 27th March. There are two Easter eggs as prizes!

Please make sure you return the slip to reserve your table. Donations of Easter Eggs would be appreciated. Thank you. If you can’t come along on the night, raffle tickets are now available for sale from the school office priced at 20p each or a £1 a strip.
Sponsored Walk A letter was sent home this week with details of the Pendle Hill sponsored walk in the Easter holidays on Monday 30th March. If your child would like to take part, please contact the office for more information.
Coffee Afternoon Mrs. Marland is going to hold a coffee afternoon on th Wednesday 25 March at 1.30pm – 3.30pm to raise funds for the residential trip. There will be a raffle with some great prizes. We would welcome donations of cakes –
