Deadline: Registration on Wednesday 4th March 2015 Compulsory Subjects You will study the following GCSE subjects during Year 10 and 11; Religious Education, English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Science, ICT, PSHCE (non-exam subject), Core PE (non-exam subject). Points to consider We recognise that for lots of different reasons only choosing 2 courses rather than 3 will help you to reach your potential. Therefore you are asked to choose STUDY SUPPORT in one option block plus two other courses you would like to study. BTECs are the equivalent of 1 GCSE. Hairdressing is a Level 1 qualification equivalent to GCSE grades D – G. You have to have a level 4b or below in your Year 6 SATS to choose this subject Read the corresponding guidance booklet before you make your choices. Discuss these choices with your parents/carer and the subject teacher before submitting your form.
There may be a possibility for you to study one of the following BTEC courses off the school site, one day a week. If you would be interested in taking one of these courses please tick the course you are interested in.
