Wacky Socks Day! On Friday 13th February (last day of term) we will be having a ‘Wacky socks’ day! For a £1 donation, pupils and staff are invited to wear a pair of wacky socks - the wackier the better! There will be three prizes for the wackiest pair - one for the boys, one for the girls and one for staff! School uniform should be worn as usual it is just socks which should be different for this day! Pupil/Parent Support Worker Hello. My name is Anne Smith and this is just a quick reminder to all parents and carers to let you know about my role in school as Pupil/Parent Family Support Worker. My role is varied and covers many areas, but mainly it is to support the students and their families. I work in close partnership with many other professionals, both within school and outside of school. I can offer support through various links which include the school nurse team, attendance team and other agencies such as the fire service and the police. If the need arises, I can also meet up with you through home visits and discuss things in person with you. Please contact me on the school number (01772 336976) or by email: asmith@moorhey.lancs.sch.uk.
