Where in the world is Greece? Who was Medusa? Did she really exist? What have the Greeks done for us? We will study different aspects of Ancient Greek life using a range of resources and artefacts. We will explore their achievements and also their influence on the western world. In literacy, pupils will create a nonchronological report about a mythical beast, explore myths and legends as well as write persuasively about the Elgin Marble. In art, pupils will use sewing and applique skills to produce a textile pot. In DT, pupils will create a 3D cam mechanism and frame. In science, pupils will investigate the school grounds and learn to use classification systems for plants and animals. Home Learning Project: Research a Greek God of your choice.
