BIG CHRISTMAS RAFFLE Congratulations to the winners of this year’s Christmas raffle.  Children’s BMX from Halfords in Ormskirk – Heidi (R)  Set of family board games – Kian (R)  A food hamper – Sarah (5)  A cleaning hamper – Lloyd (4) Thank you to all who entered we raised an amazing £231.00. “The Sleepy Shepherd” – FS Nativity We saved the best till last! The Early Years Foundation Stage performance of The Sleepy Shepherd almost brought tears to the eyes of many staff members. The children did a fantastic job and we could not be more proud of them. A special thank you to all of the parents who helped the children learn their lines at home. Another big thank you to everyone who came to support the children during their performance.

Christmas Dinner with Residents from Beechwood Court and Mr Donohue On Tuesday we had our annual Christmas Dinner. Some residents from Beechwood Court came to enjoy the food. This year our sports coach brought all his sound equipment and sang for everyone. There was a brilliant atmosphere and everyone enjoyed themselves. Thank you to the kitchen staff for preparing the meal and all the staff for helping out. A special thank you to Mr Donohue for putting on a fantastic show.

Choir at Beechwood Court On Wednesday morning a group of children and staff went to Beechwood Court to sing to the residents. The children sang beautifully some of the songs from the Christmas Performances and some traditional carols. During the refreshments afterwards the children talked to the residents who were all very impressed with our children and praised them for their excellent singing and behaviour. They were delighted by how much the children enjoyed singing all the songs.
