PTA Meeting Minutes 3 November 2014
Present: Loraine Hamer, Stephen Berry, Gillian Rimmer, Jaqui Latham, Amanda Taylor,Sue Wright, Lisa Pollitt, Neil Roberts, Sue Miller, Jacinda Tillotson, Amanda Hodgson, Rebecca Pendlebury, Heidi Adamson, Nicola Smith Apologies: Rachel Massey, Sarah Turner There was a fantastic turnout for this meeting, thanks for supporting our PTA Christmas Fair Friday 28 November 6-8pm Stalls: Gifts for adults (i.e. Mums & Dads/ Grandparents etc) Heidi to organise. Need more gift bags-request included on Christmas Fair letter that was sent home. Have choices on display but gifts already in bags to save time. Chocolate Stall-need to get small prizes Suggestion-Mulled wine in cafĂŠ Sue Wright and Lisa Pollitt have got a long list of raffle prizes. 1st prize is an iPad Mini from Diamond Business Interiors. Need to write to Octagon asking for a donation of tickets for the Panto-Letters are available from school office to send/give to organisations to request raffle prizes. Hamper Raffle: restrict to 10 hampers this year-Mrs Cox External Stalls: restrict to 4-tenders welcome (stalls for adults) Look into PTA Facebook page-can share ideas/contacts Set up group text for PTA members. PTA members have given contact numbers to enable them to contact each other outside of school. Text parents in summer term to ask them to get raffle prizes for Christmas Fair Amanda Crowther to organise raffle tickets as usual-done Contact Michaela Fox re Tuck Shop-Done-Yes she is happy to sort and run the Tuck Shop. She will also sell some carton/cup drinks. Please can we order the drinks for her when cafĂŠ do their Asda order. Due to club cuts, no Lofty the Lion this year, however a Lofty Junior will attend!
