Uniform Requirements We insist on high standards of dress at St. Peter’s and ask for Parents’ support in applying our school uniform policy. We believe that it helps to maintain the high standards of behaviour and achievement that we strive for. We also believe that having high standards of dress helps to keep to a minimum the number of incidents of bullying. Evidence shows that bullying can often begin with teasing over a young person’s appearance and so we strongly believe that maintaining high standards of dress makes our pupils much less likely to experience bullying. The following guidance is intended to provide information for Parents about the school uniform. It is not a definitive list and it is always best to check with your son or daughter’s form tutor before purchasing anything that you are in doubt about or allowing your son or daughter to have a hairstyle that might not be allowed.
