Maintaining Respect There have been a few incidents at the end of the school day and at the school office recently where staff have been spoken to in a disrespectful or abusive manner by adults. School staff will always speak to parents and other adults in a calm, respectful manner and have a right to expect the same in return. While specific individuals will always be contacted by the Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher regarding their conduct, the school does reserve the right to refuse admission to the school grounds any person verbally abusing staff. Thank you for your on-going support.

Safeguarding I would like to remind parents that it is not appropriate to approach your child (or any other) during the school day to talk to them through the school fence from the footpaths surrounding school. It is both a safeguarding issue and also affects the smooth running of school routines. Thank you for your co-operation.

Guess the Weight of the Cake Year 6 Lions would firstly like to say a huge ‘Thank you!’ to Mrs Blackwell-Price for baking us a delicious chocolate cake for our competition. It took a lot of effort from us to stop the teachers eating it, but we just about managed. The lucky winner was: AJ in Otters and the cake weighed 2.6kg (5lb 12oz) Well done! We hope you remember to save us a piece… Thank you to everyone that took part and helped us to raise £34.00. From Y6 Lions Plastic Bottle tops for St James School
