Good Bye and Good Luck Rev. Janet We would like to take this opportunity to say Good Bye, Good Luck and Thank You to Rev Janet Heighton whom has been our schools minister for the last 6 and a half years. We wish you all the best for the future and you will not be forgotten. Y6 Choir Well done to our year 6 children’s choir who visited The Concourse Shopping Centre on Monday to sing Christmas carols. They have done so well and enjoyed it so much they raised over £65 to go towards events in the new year. Thank you for your support especially the parents who turned up to watch.

Bike Raffle Thank you to all the children and parents who bought tickets for the new bike. We raised an amazing £100 to help with the start up of our new Breakfast Club. Well done to Sean who won the bike.

Our children sing for Merrill Osmond If you were around in the 1970s you will know about the American pop group The Osmonds. Their lead singer, Merrill Osmond and his son Justin (who is deaf) have started a charity called The Hearing Fund UK which aims to help deaf children in The UK. Mrs Firth made a video of our children singing and signing May The God of Hope and showed it to Merrill on Saturday. He was really impressed with the children’s singing and sign language skills, saying that it made him feel The Holy Spirit. He is looking forward to finding out more about our children’s singing in our school in the New Year when we will be doing some fund raising for The Hearing Fun UK.
