Over 260 breakfasts have been served at Rise and Shine Breakfast Club in its opening week! The children have thoroughly enjoyed their new morning routines and the activities which have taken place. Next week our theme is 'Chinese New Year’. The children will make lanterns and have a go at using chopsticks! New members are always welcome. Call into the office for a registration form. We are unable to serve breakfast after 8.35am.

Football League The Year 5/6 Football team went to Glenburn last night and played 4 matches in what were very cold and windy conditions (there was even a full hailstorm in the last game!). We drew 2-2 against Holland Moor, lost 4-2 to St. Johns, then beat Moorside 3-1 and, wait for it....beat Cobbs Brow...6-0! It was an incredible night of football with some unbelievable goals and teamwork on show. Special mention goes to James (Y5) and Koby (Y5), who both took a turn in goal in awful conditions. Also to the goal scorers: Neve (1), Joel (1), Adam (1), Ricky (3) and Saul (7!), and the incredible defensive display from Josh (Y5) and Callum (Y6). The wins were great to watch but, as ever, what was more impressive was the incredible level of sportsmanship and respect our team showed to the opposition, no matter what the result. Well done!
