Football League Last night the Bishop Martin Football team kicked of their 2013-14 league campaign with four matches at Glenburn High School. We beat Cobbs Brow 2-1, drew 0-0 against Moorside and St Johns, and lost 2-0 to Holland Moor. This means we sit on five points with three games to play. The attitude and commitment from the team was amazing as always and the games had everything: incredible saves, goal line clearances, missed penalties and crunching (but fair!) tackles! We should all be proud of the level of respect our pupils showed to their opponents. Special mention goes to Callum Mc (Y6) (captained the team brilliantly), James H (Y5) (scored one and set up one) and Callum Mc (Y4) (scored one). Well done team and bring on the next set of fixtures!
