On Tuesday evening, Bishop Martin girls 5-a-side team played 8 incredible matches at the JMO in a range of weather conditions (getting soaked at one point!). We won 5 games, lost one and drew one, scored 30 goals in total and made it through to the SemiFinal. Our Semi-Final opponents were the unbeaten St Anne's Primary, who we gave a little scare by coming back to 3-2 from 2-0 down. Unfortunately, St Anne's went on to win 6-3 with their team coach giving very high praise to our girls. The best moment came against St Johns when the girls strung together 7 passes from kick off, leading to the opening goal, scored by our goal-machine Neve! The girls were a pleasure to watch and yet again displayed the fantastic attitude and commitment we have come to expect from Bishop Martin pupils. Well done to Tania, Isla-Mai, Molly, Louise, Rhiannon and Neve! 2014 - Y6 Residential Trip If your child is in Y6 this September there is a chance for them to go on a 3 day residential outward bound trip to Todmorden.
