Nature of support 2011/12 and impact of PPG spending
Subsidise school trips and PGL to give children experiences and activities that impact on school curriculum, self esteem and social skills Fund specialist visitors to work with children e.g., artists, drama and language experts. The work carried out by these professionals impacts on the confidence of our children. This is evidenced in our standards which continue to improve in all areas including self esteem and social skills Funding for Speech Therapist one day per week. This is in recognition of the language difficulties on entry Subsidise Year 6 activities, particularly PGL and work with Manchester Arts in Education Initiative
