Developing Teaching and Learning - Three Phase Course Delivered by experienced and fully qualified facilitators, this exciting and rewarding programme provides you with time to share ideas and improve your practice. Hosted across different institutions within our Alliance, you will get the opportunity to work with teachers from different subject areas and sectors. Furthermore to embed the knowledge and understanding gained in any phase of this programme, a coach from your own school must support your development. It would be beneficial if the coach could attend the first hour of session one and the final session.

Phase One: Aspirational Teaching Audience:

Aspirational Teaching is for those teachers with the capacity to deliver good lessons.

Aims:

• Develop a common language to discuss teaching and learning • Raise performance in the classroom, by encouraging creativity and developing more innovative practice • Encourage the teacher to become a more reflective practitioner

Cost:

This course costs £350 per delegate.

Phase Two: Gateway to Consistently Good Audience:

Gateway to Consistently Good is for those teachers who want a toolkit of imaginative and innovative teaching techniques to enhance their practice.

Aims:

• To develop new and exciting teaching techniques • To explore pedagogical approaches and embed differentiation in the classroom • To design lessons that are learner-centred and demonstrate their progress

Cost:

This course costs £350 per delegate.

Phase Three: Teaching for the Future Audience:

Teaching for the Future is for those teachers who consistently achieve close to outstanding lessons.

Aims:

• To reflect on personal practice and develop existing techniques • To exchange ideas, teaching experience and sharing good practice • To become a trained coach and to cascade this to your colleagues at your home school

Cost:

This course costs £350 per delegate.
