Dear Parents/Carers, ARCHDIOCESAN SCHOOLS BUILDING FUND Many people are unaware of the fact that Catholic Schools are supported financially by the Catholic community. In order to provide youngsters with a Catholic education, a proportion of the costs of all repairs, maintenance and new building has to be found. Parents are being asked to support this enterprise by donating funds to the Archdiocesan Building Fund so that the future of Catholic education is assured. I hope you will support the Archdiocese and contribute your portion so that your child will benefit. We have been asked to obtain annually £10.00 per child/family as the school’s contribution to the Fund. In order to support the Archdiocese any shortfall is subsidised from the school budget, taking money away from other projects, so we appeal to you for your support. St Peter’s school has benefited from the Fund in the past. This includes facilities such as new Science Labs, ICT rooms and maintenance of the existing building which benefits all the pupils. There are plans to further improve facilities this year. Please fill in the reply slip and send it back to your child’s Form Teacher, as soon as possible.
