What is Direct Entry Admission?
Direct Entry (DE) admission allows candidates with advanced qualifications to gain admission directly into 200 level in a university instead of starting from 100 level.
Candidates with the following qualifications are eligible to apply:
• ND (National Diploma)
• NCE (Nigeria Certificate in Education)
• HND (Higher National Diploma)
• IJMB
• JUPEB
• A-Level certificates
Applicants must also have at least five O’Level credits in relevant subjects including English Language, obtained in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
What is a Pre-Degree Programme?
A Pre-Degree programme is designed for students who do not yet meet the full requirements for university admission. It is a preparatory programme that usually lasts one academic session. After successful completion, students can proceed to 100 level admission through internal screening or UTME.
