powered by action and reflection, and is far removed from traditional educational and training programs. There are no lectures, but experienced social entrepreneurs to question and learn from. There are no textbooks, but real life case studies. There are facilitated small group problem solving sessions (Action Learning Sets), ongoing support, business mentoring and coaching, and lots of opportunities to learn from peers and experts. SSE programs provide a unique student-centred package of support and development. We will help you develop the skills you need to grow your idea and give you the confidence and legitimacy to make it a success. What are the costs involved? The full 4–month Program fees have been generously funded by the Department of Human Services under the Better Futures, Local Solutions initiative, so all students attend at no cost.

How do I apply? Please visit sse.org.au for more information. Applications are due by COB June 23, 2014 for the Program starting in August 2014. For further information and to express your interest in attending either of the programs contact Nicholas Lim – email nicholas@sse.org.au or call 0404 451 989.

Since launching in 2009, we have supported the development of over 250 social entrepreneurs across Australia. Bankstown Change Makers is proudly funded by the Australian Government’s Department of Human Services under the Better Futures, Local Solutions initiative and will be delivered in partnership with The Benevolent Society in Bankstown.
