Warriors Selected Message From for NatsPrep! Principal Massey
Congratulations to 11th grader Jmaria Truesdale and 12th grader Omar Satterfield for being selected to participate in the first cohort of NatsPrep.
Together with 8 other DCPS students, they will undergo a 6-session training program which covers topics including event management, hospitality, marketing, and finance for the Washington Nationals. In addition to the valuable learning and networking they will receive, at the conclusion of this training Omar and Jmaria will be offered a paid summer internship with the Nationals!
Our 2021 School Year has gotten off to a great start with a lot of summer planning! This year will be unlike any other year, as this is our year to show just how strong we are at academic, cultural, operational resiliency! Our school is counted among those showing a need for improvement, and by having a laser focus on standards-based instruction, our students will grow and demonstrate mastery even more!
