SANDRA BURROUGHS

Mrs. Burroughs joins St. Thomas Episcopal Parish School as the Director of Counseling. Mrs. Burroughs most recently served as the Chaplain at Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community where she lead worship services, provided pastoral care, and taught health and wellness to residents. Prior to her role as a Chaplain, Mrs. Burroughs was the Founder and Director of Helping Hands Clothing Closet and His Hands Food Pantry. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wake Forest University, and a Master of Divinity from Wartburg Theological Seminary.

DIRECTOR OF COUNSELING

Mr. Derryberry joins St. Thomas Episcopal Parish School as the Director of Advancement. Mr. Derryberry most recently served as the VP of Development for the YMCA of South Florida. Mr. Derryberry has an extensive background in alumni relations, development, marketing and communications, and volunteer management. His experiences include posts at Ohio University, Florida State University, Boston University and the University of Miami working with diverse constituents and cultivating relationships with alumni, donors and the community to generate external support expanding student and institutional achievement.

AMANDA THOMPSON

Mrs. Thompson joins St. Thomas Episcopal Parish School as the Chief Financial Officer. She has a plethora of experience as a Florida Certified Public Accountant. Most recently, she served as the President and Chief Executive Officer for AECS Consulting Inc., where she oversaw the financial reporting, record keeping, and tax preparation for international and domestic businesses. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Florida State University, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida International University. She went on to earn a Master of Science in Taxation from Florida International University.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Oxbridge Academy welcomes Dr. Ann Masterman as the director of admission. A former Floridian, Dr. Masterman joins Oxbridge from Saint Andrew’s Episcopal School in Saratoga, California, where she was the director of enrollment management. She has a proven history in enrollment, admission, marketing, and operations experience in both independent schools and higher education with 13 years of experience. Dr. Masterman has also served as the executive director of enrollment marketing and operations for the University of Miami, where she led the development of a marketing analytic measurement plan to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to recruit and enroll students leveraging several analytics platforms. Dr. Masterman received her Ph.D. in higher education administration from Boston College as well as her master’s degree in higher education administration (concentration in enrollment management) from the University of Miami and bachelor’s degree in psychology from Syracuse University.
