Work with individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofits to distribute philanthropic dollars to nonprofit organizations that meet a wide range of needs across our community.

We provide grants, training, networking opportunities, and meeting space in the Center for Philanthropy and serve as a knowledge source for Spartanburg’s ecosystem of nonprofit organizations.

We work with individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofits to create philanthropic accounts that meet their charitable goals. Whether through donor advised funds, scholarship funds, legacy giving, designated funds, or agency funds—we work to protect, preserve, and grow these community assets to ensure the ongoing flow of resources that strengthen our community.

Through events held locally, we share knowledge about community needs. This provides opportunities for our fundholders, donors, and broader community to become informed and get involved in meeting those needs.

We lead initiatives that bring diverse groups of people together to learn, collaborate, partner, and address issues to create positive change across the community.

We undertake all Foundation work with a positive, welcoming, and collaborative culture in which all members of our community can find their role in philanthropy and help our community thrive—now and for generations to come.
