"Our research is not meant to respond to the COVID-19 emergency as we believe the present situation is only one of the consequences of the current economic, social, and urban development models and, therefore, not the root of the issue. We don’t expect to provide solutions but, as architects, we strongly believe that only a wiser and shared planning policy can provide significant benefits to our society. We invite colleagues and thinkers from all over the world to join this Manifesto and give strength to it. Please share this document as much as possible and feel free to give us your comments and suggestions. "
