Day 28: Ottawa Sightseeing (FB,HD)

Our local guide joins us for a tour of Ottawa. You’re Invited: This afternoon visit Mādahòkì Farms, an authentic cultural experience. After a traditional arrival and welcome spend some time with their cultural Ambassadors who will share their indigenous culture including a special dinner and dance presentation.

Day 29: Ottawa – Québec City (FB,HL)

Make our way to a traditional Quebecois Sugar Shack. You’re invited: Enjoy French Canadian country hospitality and partake in a lunch that showcases the local cuisine. Continue to Quebec City and embark on a walking tour within the walls of the Vieux Carre (Old City).

Day 30: Québec City (FB)

Québec City is one of the world’s most historical and fascinating cities. Spend the day exploring the quaint streets, ancient buildings and getting to know the local food and people.

Day 31: Québec City – Montréal (FB,D)

Travel along the St. Lawrence River and head for the quintessentially French city of Montreal. On arrival, enjoy a sightseeing tour.

Day 32: New England Discovery – 7 Night Cruise (FB,D)

Check into your comfortable ocean view stateroom (upgrade to verandah stateroom additional expense) on the luxurious Holland America cruise ship ms Volendam#. Settle in for an unforgettable 7 night voyage through New England.

Day 33: Québec City (FB,L,D)

Dock in the beautiful Québec City. There are a wide range of shore excursions available (at your own expense).

The Gulf of Saint Lawrence is the largest estuary in the world. It is defined by stunning coast line.

Day 35: Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island (FB,L,D)

This morning, arrive into the charming city of Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island and have free time to explore the city.

Day 36: Sydney, Cape Breton Island (FB,L,D)

Sydney is the gateway to Nova Scotia and Cape Breton Island, it’s wild topography includes Cape Breton Highlands and miles of rugged coastline.

Day 37: Halifax, Nova Scotia (FB,L,D)

Arrive into Halifax spending the day docked in one of the world’s most beautiful natural harbours.

Day 38: Bar Harbor, Maine (FB,L,D)

Enter the waters of the United States, as you sail along the coast of New Brunswick. Arrive into Bar Harbor, from where optional tours will be available into the beautiful Acadia National Park (shore excursions at own expense).

Day 39: Depart Boston (FB)

Disembark in Boston and transfer to the airport for your homeward flight (book flight after 2pm)

Day 1: Arrive Vancouver (D)

Welcome to Canada! You will be met at Vancouver International Airport and transferred to your hotel. This evening, meet your Tour Director and fellow travellers for a welcome dinner.

Two Night Stay: Sheraton Vancouver or similar.

Day 2: Vancouver Sightseeing (FB)

Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Vancouver, including a visit to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.

Day 3: Rocky Mountaineer – Kamloops (FB,L)

Set off on a two day rail experience on ‘The Most Spectacular Train Journey in the World’. Settle back in your SilverLeaf carriage (upgrade to GoldLeaf at additional expense). Travel through the Fraser Valley then follow the Thompson River towards Kamloops. Overnight Stay: Kamloops Hotel (as assigned by Rocky Mountaineer).

Day 4: Rocky Mountaineer – Banff (FB,L)

Continue your journey into the soaring, rugged snow-capped mountains. Marvel at the beauty of the glaciers, lakes and forest sitting at the foot of these grand mountains. Arrive in Banff, a picturesque town located within Banff National Park and the quintessential Rocky Mountains town. Two Night Stay: Caribou Lodge or similar.

Day 5: Banff (FB,D)

Today is free for your to enjoy Banff.

Day 6: Banff – Lake Louise – Emerald Lake (FB,D)

Start the day with a tour of Banff including the Bow River, the Hoodoos and Bow Falls. Make your way to Lake Louise the “Diamond in the Wilderness”, where you will have time to explore. Finish the day at Emerald Lake, so named because of the vibrant colour of its waters.

Day 7: Glacier ‘Ice Explorer’ – Jasper (FB,D)

Travel along the Icefields Parkway, acclaimed as one of the most spectacular journeys in the world. Stop at Columbia Icefield and climb on board the “Ice Explorer” for a journey onto the Athabasca Glacier.

The day’s end finds us in Jasper National Park. Overnight Stay: Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge or similar.

Day 8: Jasper – South Thompson River (FB,D) Weave through lush forests before arriving at our unique ranch style inn on the shores of the South Thompson River. Overnight Stay: South Thompson Inn or similar.

Day 9: South Thompson River – Whistler (FB) Travel through scenic landscapes past the town of Lillooet to the charming alpine resort of Whistler. Overnight Stay: Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa.

Day 10: Georgia Strait – Victoria (FB) Travel along the Sea to Sky Highway then board the BC ferry and cruise through the Georgia Strait. Two Night Stay: Marriott Victoria Inner Harbour or similar.

Day 11: Victoria Sightseeing – Butchart Gardens (FB,D)

This morning, visit the world-famous Butchart Gardens and learn about the history and flora while exploring the gardens. Afterwards, enjoy an orientation tour of Victoria’s Inner Harbour. Discover More: Take a horse and carriage ride, or go whale watching.

Day 12: Vancouver – 7 Night Alaskan Cruise (FB,D)

This morning, board your luxurious cruise ship. Check into your Outside Stateroom on the Holland America ms Niew Amsterdam or ms Noordam and settle-in for an unforgettable 7 night voyage through the famed Inside Passage.

Day 13 – 18: Cruising the Inside Passage (FB,L,D) Refer to pages 22 - 23 outlining your daily cruise itinerary on days 13 to 18.

Day 19: Seward – Anchorage (FB,D)

Disembark and enjoy a scenic rail journey aboard the cruise train. Glaciers, canyons, waterfalls and spectacular scenery await at every turn. Overnight Stay: The Hotel Captain Cook or similar.

Day 20: Anchorage – Denali State Park (FB,D) Get our first taste of the vast natural beauty of Alaska as we travel north from Anchorage to

Denali State Park. Visit the quaint and quirky town of Talkeetna, and if you’re lucky, catch a glimpse of impressive Mt. Denali. Overnight Stay: Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge or similar.

Day 21: McKinley Explorer Train – Denali (FB,D) Relax and soak up the surroundings on board the full-dome McKinley Explorer to Denali National Park. This evening is a Music of Denali Dinner Show. Two Night Stay: McKinley Chalet Resort or similar.

Day 22: Denali National Park (FB) Embark on a wilderness tour which takes you into the park for a once in a lifetime experience.

Day 23: Denali - Fairbanks (FB,D)

Continue to Fairbanks known as the “Golden Heart City”. Board an authentic sternwheeler for a unique cruise. Overnight Stay: Westmark Fairbanks Hotel or similar

Day 24: Fairbanks - Seattle (FB)
