Newsmakers continues to be a chance for the Charleston Regional Business Journal to step back and look at the news and events that raced across our days, weeks and months. The year 2019 symbolized change and reflection in the Charleston region — some of it good, some of it great, and a lot of it challenging.
We’re making significant strides in how we tell our story to the world. We’re deciding how to shift our economy from just a place to visit into a viable place to thrive. We’re also moving forward with ways to deal with some of our seemingly overwhelming issues such as transportation and education.
