King David Mowbray Golf Club is a merger between Mowbray Golf Club, one of Cape Town’s oldest golf clubs founded in 1910 and King David Golf Club, built in 1950. The greens are generous and protected by wellplaced bunkers and water features, offering a wide variety of pin placements. The course is without a doubt one of the best in the country offering two very distinctly different nines.
The flat front nine winds its way through the park-like terrain, calling for challenging approach shots to the long, narrow putting surfaces. The second flows into the foot of the Helderberg, eventually offering sweeping views over False Bay, surrounding vineyards, olive groves and Helderberg Nature Reserve.
