Alternative Pathways

Over the last three years Sarah Bonnell has developed partnerships with a range of alternative providers across Newham, Hackney and Waltham Forest. At Sarah Bonnell we believe in providing students with opportunities beyond a mainstream setting, and aligns with the launch of the Pathway from September 2023.

We believe effective provision consists of positive links between providers and Sarah Bonnell, where students are involved in their learning experience to ensure it is personalised and allows them to access a wider range of opportunities, for example vocational and work based learning. Our ultimate goal is to ensure they gain regular access to a range of services that support each individual's needs that allows them to gain accreditation that enables them to be successful in the future.

We strongly believe in maintaining these relationships and regularly visit and check in on their progress Here are some soundbites from students and staff:

Success Stories:

"I really enjoy courses such as construction"

"When visiting students at each provider I have been impressed by their level of dedication as well as the feedback from staff"

"Student X has been fantastic in their work placement They developed their customer service skills and the feedback has been impressive"

"My confidence in my work placement has helped me get a better understanding of my next steps for college"
