On Friday 10th February 36 year 8 students competed in the 2023 Faraday Engineering Competition. Students took part in a one-day cross-curricular sciences, technologies, engineering and mathematics activities that introduces students to inspire them to consider engineering as a career, and help to develop their practical and employability skills, including team working, problem solving, and creative thinking.Students were tasked to invent a new idea for a specific industry and complete the industrial cadets level. All 36 students worked in teams and were competing against each other throughout the day. Congratulations to the winning team who won the plaque for the school and £10 love to shop vouchers each.
