Mission Statement We strive to improve lives in our community by providing help, hope and healing through professional grief support services.

Service Area We serve individuals throughout all of southwest Missouri and into northwest Arkansas and southeast Kansas.

Funding We are primarily funded through the generosity of private donations from individuals, families and corporate sponsorships. We also receive funding from grants and foundations.

Testimonials “Lost & Found helped me be able to discuss grief with my child and gave me tools to help them process their grief. Lost & Found is highly needed in this community. It provided a much-needed service and we are thankful for this place.” “Lost & Found has given me the ability to breathe again.” “When you go to a group, you listen and hear what the other people have to say and realize that you feel the same way. Things start to get a little better for you. There is a validation of your grief and questions that you have are resolved.”

12 Month Goals Meet the growing demand of grief support for pregnancy and infant loss, after-grief support, and families during advanced serious illness. Ensure the underserved population of the region are aware of the programs and services offered at no charge to participants. Commit to an outreach program to employers in the region for crisis response, and their HR department resource initiatives. Continue to develop online and digital educational and informational programs for quick and easy access.

Annual Events • Game Day – October 3, 2021 • Evening of Hope – January 29, 2022 • Run and Remember – May 2022, exact date pending • Golf Fore Hope – June 2022, exact date pending

How People and Businesses Can Help Because we do not receive federal funding, we rely solely on the financial generosity of individuals, businesses and foundations to support Lost & Found so that grieving children, parents and adults are able to see that there is hope, and they are not alone. We are always looking for many different types of volunteers to help in the office, at events, and most importantly, in our grief support groups as greeters for the families when they arrive, or as facilitators assisting the group coordinators.
