ABOUT US

SAZ MEDIA is a film & photography social enterprise based in Greater Manchester.

Established in 2016 our mission is to be the go to place for quality media content that inspires positive social change.

We provide commercial film and photography services for purpose-led organisations. We reinvest 100% of our profits back into the community by providing experiences and opportunities that develop people’s film and photography skills and increases their confidence, wellbeing and aspirations.

That’s why we created these short videos with Stockport residents to explore how they use digital tools and their tips for getting started or learning more.

We’re proud to have created this campaign video for Stockport Women & Girls’ Network at Heaton Norris Community Centre, capturing a rich diversity of voices and languages.

The message of “It starts with men” is part of a campaign by White Ribbon UK, which aims to prevent violence against women and girls by addressing its root causes.

We firmly believe that as a society, we need to talk more openly about domestic violence, break the silence, and end the stigma surrounding it. By raising awareness, we can help bring it to an end.

DILLONS STORY “The work experience has been very helpful to me in my development.

It’s very important for people with disabilities like me to have alternative paths into employment.

It feels very good to get paid work.”

COURTNEYS STORY Courtney first joined our workshops in 2018 as a participant and has since become a valued member of the SAZ MEDIA team. She now volunteers with us ahead of starting her degree in Photography.

This year we supported 3 young disabled and neurodivergent people to take part in work experience with us and we gave paid opportunities.

As well as our workshops, we are always looking for ways to support young people with their skills and career development. At SAZ MEDIA we create and support equal opportunities for all.

Matt Ford - Living Wage Foundation

I commissioned SAZ MEDIA to produce two promotional case study videos for my organisation, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. After providing an initial brief and having a kick off meeting, Sara and her team arranged the filming with the case study employer, keeping us updated every step of the way. The final products were of exceptionally high quality, aligned with the brief, and exceeded our expectations.

We suggested very few amendments as they were spot on! SAZ MEDIA met every deadline, and the project stayed within our budget. We are thrilled with the results and will definitely be using SAZ MEDIA again. It's also worth noting that they are an accredited Living Wage Employer, ensuring all staff are fairly compensated. Highly recommended!

Ben Andrews Beyond Empower

Working with SAZ MEDIA has been amazing. They've helped us capture and reflect our work in both photo and video formats and this has really helped in showcasing our work to others. We've been particularly impressed with SAZ MEDIA's approach to feedback and making sure things are right for the customer. Nothing was too much. This is particularly reflected in our video which uses captions, audio description and British Sign Language Interpretation to ensure accessibility. This was a new one for us as an organisation but SAZ MEDIA stuck with through all of the learning and we now have an accessible video we're really proud of and can't wait to share. Thanks to all at SAZ MEDIA. I couldn't recommend more highly and will be sure to work together again. .
