Music for Butoh Dance

COMPOSER’S NOTE Jinsei Kouro means Journey of Life in Japanese. This piece was inspired by a contemporary Japanese dance, Butoh. Butoh was created around 1960 by Hijikata Tatsumi and later it was developed all around the world. This composition is to accompany the Butoh dance performance and also inspired by a piece by Imre Thormann from Switzerland. This piece is a portrait of a gentleman about his journey as a human.
