I am a third year student in the Interior Design program at Kansas State University. I have traveled and lived all over the world. I am seeking a summer internship from June 2023 to August 2023. I am eager to gain professional experience in the design world. I am adaptable, strategic, and deliberative. I love to break the boundaries of design and create spaces that are unique experiences. I have the skills and experience required to spark a positive and unique influence on your design firm. I hope you enjoy viewing my favorite projects, as they are a glimpse into what is possible.

time: 2 weeks independent study

This project allowed for creative exploration and application of the 1950’s mid-century modern design style. The Voelker family consisted of two adults and their newborn. They were wanting to bring their midcentury modern gem back to life and understand what was possible for their home. Meshing the moderns was the approach to this design, blending classic 1950’s mid-century, pop art, and 21st mid-century design. This led to the final conceptual drawings that were manually drafted and rendered. The result was a bright family home that was art in itself.

This project, Green Family Weekend House, allowed for the exploration of the interrelationship of interiors and exteriors as it influences the design of an interior space. The Green family consisted of two adults and their two children. They were wanting to escape their busy lives to an open, simple, and less cluttered living environment. This led to the final drawings that are manually drafted and rendered. The result was a family home constructed with clear symmetry, circulation, and division of public and private interior areas that responded to exterior visual barriers, structural forms, and environment.

This group project, with Vanessa Bogs, Avi Berry, and Abby Busby was the development of a boutique hotel and restaurant. The group collaborated on the whole design process including branding, space planning, and model building. This is highlighting my material selection and Enscape rendering contribution to the Prairie Hotel. The left side is the The Prarie Hotel and the right side is Smoke n’ Spice.
