“I
n early 2009, like so many prospective Brides and Grooms around the country, we began to make plans for our May 2010 wedding but immediately had the stumbling block of how we could make our wedding unique to us on a small budget. Ideally, we didn’t want a village hall or a traditional wedding venue for the reception, we wanted to find something that suited our personalities and wanted everyone to be relaxed and not constrained by the surroundings of four walls. So, after lengthy research and planning we opted to bring the day outdoors with a festival tinged celebration with Canvas Tipis and Bell Tents as the backdrop.

ogether with eclectic musical sounds, the ‘back to nature’ festival atmosphere meant there were no heirs and graces on the big day....just great fun! It was from this that more than just a marriage was born, the dawn of our business emerged - Tinkers Bells. As a husband and wife team, with a background of fashion buying and design we decided to ditch our jobs in Manchester and move back to Staffordshire, where we both grew up, a scary decision but one we are so glad we have taken!
