OUR WORK
FRANCISCO MORAZÁN
INTIBUCÁ
Education: we develop comprehensive activities to ensure that all children and adolescents can have access to and actively participate in quality and inclusive education. Child poverty: we implement programs focusing on livelihoods for adolescents and their families to develop their skills to improve their income and quality of life. Protection: we strengthen child protection systems so that children live in an environment free of violence and exploitation. We also promote techniques for care and positive discipline in homes.
LA PAZ
Health and Nutrition: we work to eliminate child mortality from preventable causes, promote healthy sanitation and hygiene practices, and ensure access to safe water drinking sources. Furthermore, we promote equitable access to health and nutrition services for children in vulnerable situations and during humanitarian crises, in addition to promoting access to sexual and reproductive health services for girls and adolescents. We work to reduce stunting rates and eliminate morbidity and mortality of children under 5 years old due to infectious and vector-borne diseases, such as dengue, malaria, chikungunya and zika.

OUR DONORS (…) My name is Fanny Lagos and I am a volunteer educator concerned with the welfare not only of my CCERPREB but also of my fellow educators in the municipality of Danlí. As Save the Children Honduras promotes the creation of different organizations, I sought out the organization´s help to support us. With its backing, we were successful in our efforts in collaborating with educational authorities and thus formed the First Network of Volunteer Educators of Honduras at the Department of Paradise. Save the Children Honduras continued providing us with training, even though we did not have a formal education degree; the knowledge provided allows us to improve our performance
