Unoesc Xanxerê follows the agricultural vocation of the city and stands out in the area of Exact and Earth Sciences, with the off er of the course of Agronomy and Forest Engineering, and in the area of animal health, with programs in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science. Other graduate and undergraduate programs, directed to areas of Health, Education and Social Sciences contribute to the training of specialized professionals to meet the needs of the region. In the area of sustainability, the Campus holds one of the three Bioenergetics Engineering programs in Brazil, with studies focused mainly on biofuels, renewable energy and environment. The Campus has modern facilities with classrooms, laboratories, a library, gymnasium, amphitheater with seating facilities for 850 people, plus a veterinary reference hospital. Allied to this complete infrastructure, a team of trained teachers encourages research and the integral formation of students. In Xanxerê Unoesc mantains the “Colégio e Pré‐vesibular Expressivo”, an elementary to college‐entrance prep school, with about 300 students who attend from Kindergarten through High School.
