Annual Report 2024

Reflections from our Executive Director

What a joy to be able to take a moment to pause and reflect together. Thank you so very much to our tremendous supporters: foundations, corporate partners, businesses of support, volunteers, and our individual donors who have made this year possible!

Because of your generosity, we've been able to ignite curiosity, inspire creativity, and provide hands-on learning experiences to over a thousand students across the state. I invite you to explore this annual report illuminating the ways in which your funds and support directly seeded social impact

This year provided an opportunity to launch new initiatives that directly serve student and family needs. Our Days Off Program for Youth, taking place when school is out, but parents still have to work ensures dynamic skill-building in career-connected and evidence-based learning for K-5 grade Even our signature Apprenticeships in Science and Engineering evolved in ensuring social-emotional learning topics were present alongside expert industry training. Additionally, we we were able to work in intentional partnership with OHSU, Portland State University, and the University of Portland to host our Summer Camp Programming.

Whether you have generously contributed funds, time, energy, skill or mentorship, your efforts this year have directly impacted our ability to fulfill our mission. You have helped us to remove barriers of access for students who otherwise would not be able to engage in programming. This year we cut our deficit in half. Post-pandemic, it has been an uphill climb, but one we are making through innovation, resilience, and your financial support Ultimately, you have played a hand in curating transformative experiences for students K through 12th grade across the state of Oregon

From all of us at Saturday Academy, thank you so much for believing our mission focused on deepening identity, connecting community and increasing global awareness for the next generation of innovators. We simply could not do it without you.

We look forward to continuing the learning journey together

Be well,
