A new working group has been established in partnership with ED colleagues to promote a culture of zero-tolerance of poor behaviours from colleagues, patients and other hospital visitors.

Update-please be aware when discharging patients with seizures that there is a currently an 8 week wait for the first fit clinic. Please let the patients know what time frame to expect.
Colleagues are reminded to ensure completion of the Abbey Pain Scale documentation for the assessment of pain in patients who cannot verbalise i.e. patients with dementia or communication difficulties.

at Board Round and Ward Round
The excellent Ward round simulation programme continues. This is a half day training session which is multi professional and open to all grades of doctors and nurses. We particularly need consultants or senior HSTs to take part to lead the ward round. Feedback has been excellent.
