It is now called the Hebron Brick Company. Many hand-pressed face bricks made at the turn of the 20th cenrury ar local brick factories between Winnipeg and Moose Jaw weighed about 4 pounds (1.8 kg). By comparison, this machine-pressed brick from Hebron weighs 5 % pounds (2.5 kg). The extra weight could have a significant affect on a building foundation. not to mention shipping costs.

The Leader Building was home for Regina's Lead.er-Post newspaper from 1913 to 1964. Though faced with white terra cotta on the srreer fagade, it includes this high quality Hebron face brick for the public wall in the back alley.
