-TheSeniorsFarmers’MarketNutrition ProgramisofferedstatewideinDelaware fromJunethruOctobereachyearwhich providesfreshfruits,vegetables,herbs,and honeyatnocosttolow-incomesenior citizensat15farmers’marketsand14onfarmmarketsinDelaware.Participants mustbearesidentofDelaware,mustbe60 yearsorolder;andmusthaveahousehold incomenotexceeding185percentofthe currentpovertyincomeeligibilityguidelines. Thecenterreceivesalimitednumberof cardsatthebeginningofJune,andthe centerwilloffercardstoeligibleseniorswho requestthemonafirst-come-first-serve basis.Eachyear,awaitlistiskeptforeligible seniorswhodonotreceivecouponsdueto ashortfallinavailablefundseachyear.
