NEUROPLASTICITY

In urban areas the amount of diseases and illness is increasing day by day. People are very busy in their lives that they forget to focus on their health. So the design approach for a hospital should be such that encourages people to focus on their health. The patients here should be given an environment which is not present in their day to day activity. If a person in his or her day to day path has an element which he likes or soothes him, he tries to adapt it in his daily routine, that element could be as simple as a planter.

"A hospital is a place where you get treatment But a designed Orientation of wing a tilted so that view of nala is eliminated. hospital can be a place where you learn to heal yourself" A structures effectiveness should not only be limited to its premises, but it also should be carried beyond it.

The central core block consists of staicase, Lifts and waiting area at each oor, which on top 2 oors gets converted to lounge for doctosa adn nurses.

Pocket green spaces placed at each level for the people in waiting areas and also for the doctors and nurses.

The healing garden on the ground is not only restricted to the people of hospital but also for the neighborhood people.

Interior Design of a Theme restaurant at BKC, Mumbai

04 URBAN JUNGLE 'Urban jungle', is a theme proposed for the restaurant amidst the concrete jungle the humans have created. The restaurant located in the heart of Bkc is a relaxation spot for people taking a break and the interiors are designed to bring nature into work. A simple approach to let the ambience do the talking, the place is given a warm embrace of nature. There are Indian style sitting compartments for keeping the tradition alive despite of the adopted western culture. An attempt to pacify the stress and let the body enjoy a good meal with a good environment.
