HIGH POINT MARKET By Brad Cates We just finished up in High Point and definitely made a statement. Not only with our usual expansive slate of new products, but with a revamped business approach designed to solve the needs of weary retailers and designers on the hunt for inventory. As we have for decades, our company unveiled hundreds of new products right for the times. But this time, there was a twist: All the samples on display in our third-floor Commerce & Design building showroom are already in production with stock arriving in our Wilson, NC-warehouse daily—making them available immediately for purchase and shipment. Simply put, we decided not to wait around for a Market to decide to order more product. This is in an effort to help satisfy our customer’s needs during these challenging times. Instead, we increased production across our global supply chain, not only of our top-selling products, but everything brand new as well. The goal is to give customers full buying confidence, whether they were able to shop Market in person or are working from an office or studio in their home.
