SUPERCOLOUR

BACKGROUND:

There’s a low awareness of colour packages amongst non colour guests. Some salons do not offer colour services. We offer style without compromise at great value prices. How do we communicate this in an aspirational way to out audience in a competitive market - to build trust and loyalty but also to remain on trend for Gen z audiences.

BRIEF:

Develop a creative idea and messaging to enable Supercuts to launch a multi channel campaign to relaunch : 1. Colour packages 2. Price & value with convenience 3. Booking system is clear.

JOURNEY:

Art direction and collaboration with a digital agency to propose an entire refresh of the colour packages and how to execute.

Model selection and photo-shoot for campaign.

OUTCOME:

Print collateral in stores across the region. Social media/Website assets, Paid ads, E-commerce assets, Gifs, Digital Screens and Animations. (here)

MONDELEZ

CADBURYS

BACKGROUND:

Mondelez have rebranded many of their brands such as Cadbury who now follow a fresh and contemporary vibe.

BRIEF:

Produce an adaptive design roll-out of 20+ technical builds for Cadbury’s Personality Brands. This includes, Twirl, Wispa, Wispa Gold, Picnic, Crunchie, Flake, Cadbury White, Cadbury White

Oreo and Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons. The new branding will be utilised across all upcoming campaigns including Easter and Win the Captain.

JOURNEY:

Brand guardian to execute the design intent across all print and digital formats. Setting each file up for print production and use for designers to incorperate on Mondelez marketing material.

OUTCOME:

Adaptive design rollout for Cadbury’s Personality Brands which had been stress tested and set up for final design / production. New branding utilised across campagin work.

MONDELEZ - Multiple Brands

Retailer POS

BACKGROUND:

Monzdelez brands required adaptation for Retailers. This include Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Poundland, Ocado, Co-op and Aldi.

BRIEF:

Adapt the redesign for each brand and follow the retailers guidelines accordingly. Additionally, varied brands are promoting Seasonal/Sale campaigns. Ensure these promotions are clear in the process.

OUTCOME:

Adaptive design rollouts were created for packaging, web and retail assets. This includes: Website assets, In store/outdoor Signage, Leaflets, Posters, POS units, Electros and Floor vinyls.

SIMPLE

BACKGROUND:

Simple’s philosophy of ‘Kindness is at the heart of everything we do’ remains true. Simple’s gift ranges have not shown the message as strongly as it could be.

BRIEF:

Develop concepts for three gift sets for loyal Simple customers but introduce elements of fun to draw in new Gen Z purchasers.

JOURNEY:

Understanding Simple’s branding, tone of voice and philosophy. In depth research into target market. Trending packaging material that follow brand / eco friendly equity. Journey taken from sketches, to digital visuals.

OUTCOME:

The client chose our ‘All wrapped up range’ where the exterior wraps were intended for multi purpose use and could be made into a hair tie or as a scarf. Due to budget, we were limited to use cheaper material than printed fabric.

03 | BRANDING

CLARITIN

BACKGROUND:

Claritin have updated their branding and requirea pack guideline document which would support agencies when rolling out Claritin packs globally.

BRIEF:

Compose systems and rules which create alignment for the contemporary branding of Claritin.

JOURNEY:

Understanding and combining several historical documents to align and clearly articulate design rationale and intent for Global reproduction. Identifying clear rules of Vista placement. Collaborating with partner agencies and production.

OUTCOME:

An in-depth book that deconstructed the brand portfolio, pack assets and file builds to form a cohesive and informative rule book.

BAYER

BAB APP

BACKGROUND:

BAB is an acronym standing for ‘Browse Art in Brum’. It aims to promote Birmingham’s public heritage in an active and fun way. The app takes the user to the location and provides fun facts. It contains links to social media for people to share there experience using the hashtag #BOSTINBAB.

BRIEF:

Promote Birmingham’s public art/heritage to newcomers looking to explore the City.

JOURNEY:

The app was originally based on badges that I sketched as a one minute brief. I thought the badges could be used in gift stores around Birmingham. Instead I developed the idea and made the app using Adobe softwares. The prototype promo video is here

OUTCOME:

Digital UX/UI story board and app design. Promo video, Social media campaigns and Advertising. This includes a collaboration with a MUJI store in Birmingham City Centre.
