DESCRIPTION
Indigo night, hand made, a connection to the moon. These keywords were behind designing all the branding elements under this project. As the client's visual preferences aligned with my own style, the project went into the direction set from the first conversation, and we ended up with a logo with Arabic calligraphy and the moon element being the main focuses of the logo design. And a simple bag design where the logo was pllaced into a graphic element making the bag a unique and catchy design. Additionallabels were designed for each of the scsents being sold by the client, and Arabic typography was incorporated to create these one of a kind names.

Mango Mania
Visual identity & branding design 2018
DESCRIPTION
Youth, fun & summer vibes. During my discussion with the client, she communicated that she would like all the lettering to be hand made, and wanted them to reflect youth & the free spiritedness of summer in our country. Therefore, I have decided on colors suitable for the fruit, as well as brush lettering drawn in a freestyle manner to reflect her vision. I made sure that the logo and the rest of the designs under Mango Mania would be unconventional and personal to her. Besides the logo, this project included a menu design, as well as a selection of ingredient labels.
CHALLENGES
1. We had to meet the tight deadline for her first participation at Global Village.
2. At that point I haven't yet branched out to freestyle hand lettering. I had to learn and practice the font in a short amount of time.
3. While each language has it's own visual rules, I still had to make sure that the lettering pieces in Arabic and English looked unified.

Dubai Financial Market
Anniversary logo design 2020
DESCRIPTION
I was approached to design a Logo for Dubai Financial Market for their 20th anniversary. The approach was for the logo to be based on hand lettering, incorporating the number 20 in the design. Not only was it their 20th anniversary, but it also fell in the year 2020. The direction follows the visual identity of their existing logo in a unified manner, since the mark would be placed next to it across their digital and printed platfoms. Therefore, I designed it in the style of symmetric Islamic motifs.
CHALLENGES
1. The design had to follow style and guidelines of their official logo and overall visual identity.
2. It was my first project for such a big and official entity, a great but exciting challenge
3. I mostly work with freestyle. and organic calligraphy when it comes to Arabic, it was new and interesting to work with symmetry for the first time.

DESCRIPTION
A logo that is backed by a symbolic story and exudes the pride of starting from scratch in Dubai. These specifics were the core of this project. With the burj being the main focus, I went ahead and took the base of the building as my main inspiration. This was a challenging project at first, but went on to be the launch pad to my newly acquired skill of backing up my designs with a profound story.

Content creation - 2021
DESCRIPTION
A love for the handmade, the authentic, and the unconventionl Those were the main ideas behind this project. This project allowed me to push myself to combine my various interests and talents to provide a set of designs that would capture the attention of Khalab's audience. This included hand lettering in both Arabic and English, collage making, scene setting, and photography. It was a way to ensure that the final images were personal to the client, reflecting their passion for authenticity, as well as making sure it represents the brand in a professional manner.
CHALLENGES
1. The project involved learning multiple new skills like scene setting for photography, the art of journaling, and more.
2. It was challenging yet exciting to link auch a wide set of mediums under one project. It ended up becoming a favorite aspect of mine that I began including in my new projects
3. As the concept was vintage and handmade, I had to make sure to apply it to as many elements under the project as I could. The only part that is digital is the english paragraph in "About".
