SARATOGA SPRINGSLive Nation will hold a series of job fairs to fill a number of seasonal positions for the 2023 concert season at Saratoga Performing Arts Center beginning on Sunday, March 19 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. A full schedule of all job fair sessions is below.
The schedule for the Live Nation job fairs at SPAC is as follows: Sunday, March 19 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.; Sunday, March 26 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.; Saturday, April 1 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. ; Sunday, April 2 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.; Saturday, April 8 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Applicants should enter SPAC through the Hall of Springs gate due to construction happening on the Route 50 entrance side. Please follow the signs to The Pines building and go upstairs to the Nancy DiCresce Room.

The 2023 Summer Season at SPAC features an allstar lineup of performers, including Dead & Company (June 17-18), Dermot Kennedy (June 19), Tedeschi Trucks Band (July 1), Big Time Rush (July 3), Goose (July 7), Noel Gallagher & Garbage (July 8), Kidz Bop (July 9), Dave Matthews Band (July 14-15), Jason Aldean (July 16), Matchbox 20 (July 30), Foreigner (August 1), The Chicks (August 6), Goo Goo Dolls (August 8), Zac Brown Band (August 13), Pentatonix (August 23), Eric Church(August 24), Guns N’ Roses (September 1), and Lynyrd Skynyrd (September 8).

William T. (Bill) Allen Jr.
William T. (Bill) Allen Jr. died on October 5, 2022, at age 85, at his home in Saratoga Springs. He was born to Dorothy and Bill Allen of Niskayuna on August 10, 1937. Bill grew up in Niskayuna and graduated from Nott Terrace
Wilfred Clark Jr.
Wilfred Clark Jr, died on March 12, 2023, at Glens Falls, Hospital. He was born on June 16, 1941, in Cambridge, NY, the son of the late Wilfred Clark Sr. and Glendora L. Clark. At the family’s request there will be no services at this time. Visit: www.compassionatefuneralcare. com

High School in 1955. He attended one year at West Point Military Academy and then served two years in the army, stationed in Japan. Bill graduated from Union College in 1961, and he received his master’s degree in Sociology from Columbia University in 1963.
He worked in college admissions at Union, at Yale University as an Associate Director of Admissions

Thomas Sawn died March 13. A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. March 18 at Compassionate Funeral Care. Visitors may call at 4 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. After earning a second master’s degree in Secondary School Administration, he served as a guidance counselor at South Glens Falls Junior High from 1978 until 1991. During this time, he enjoyed working summers at the Saratoga Race Track as a parimutuel clerk and did so in his retirement

SARATOGA SPRINGS — Lillian “Honey” C. Fay died peacefully on Friday, March 10, 2023. She was 86 years old. Honey was born on May 5, 1936. Edward J. Ody, 56, of Saratoga Springs, pleaded March 8 to felony DWI, first charged December 2022. Sentencing May 11.
David A. Lowers, 30, of Saratoga Springs, pleaded March 8 to rape in the first-degree, first charged Sept. 1- Dec. 19, 2022 in Saratoga Springs. Sentencing May 10.
William Bounds, 37, of Malta, was sentenced March 8 to 5 months incarceration, after pleading to failure to register or verify as a sex offender.
Shaineef S. Cain, 28, of Albany, pleaded March 8 to criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourthdegree, first charged October 2022 in Saratoga Springs. Sentencing May 10.
William R. Boyd, 39, of Niskayuna, was sentenced March 7 to 3-1/2 years incarceration, after pleading to felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, first charged August 2022 in Moreau.
Michael Shuhart, 46, of Troy, pleaded March 7 to felony criminal contempt, first charged in February in Waterford. Sentencing May 2.
John Cahill, 25, of Wilton, pleaded March 7 to promoting a sexual performance by a child, first charged November 2021. Sentencing May 9.
Caleb Varney, 21, of South Glens Falls, pleaded March 7 to felony rape, first charged May 23-June 10 in Moreau. Sentencing May 9.
Nicholas P. Lesson, was sentenced March 6 to 6 years incarceration after pleading to attempted rape in the first-degree, and 1 year incarceration after pleading to felony burglary. Sentences to run concurrently.
Crim S. Trerise, 57, of Middle Grove, pleaded March 6 to sexual abuse in the firstdegree, first charged June –August 2017, in Greenfield. Sentencing May 8.
Saratoga Springs Police
Corey Masi, 22, of Glenville, was charged March 2 in connection with numerous suspected burglaries that occurred June 2022 throughout Saratoga Springs. In all, seven businesses had been burglarized, according to city police. Masi was charged with 7 counts felony burglary, 2 misdemeanor counts criminal mischief, and 2 misdemeanor counts petit larceny.
Angel Fortis-Galarza, 29, of Hartford Connecticut, was charged March 2 with DWI, and 7 additional various driving related offenses.
Darren Crevar, 42, of Saratoga Springs, was charged March 1 with criminal mischief, assault, menacing, and criminal obstruction of breathing.
John Valentin, 27, of Saratoga Springs, was charged March 1 with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Timothy Everhardt, 29, of Saratoga Springs, was charged March 1 with assault, menacing, criminal mischief, criminal contempt, criminal obstruction of breathing, and act in manner injure child less than 17.
Austin Foley, 24, of Saratoga Springs, was charged March 1 with aggravated unlicensed operation.
William Durfee, 38, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 28 with obstruct governmental administration, and false impersonation.
Christopher Town, 25, of Johnstown, was charged Feb. 26 with DWI, and driving wrong direction down oneway street.
Ryen Van Hall, 35, of Saratoga Springs, was charged Feb. 25 with DWI, and 2 drivingrelated violations.
Ny State Police
On March 3, 2023, State Police in Clifton Park charged James J. Forgett, 52, of Malta, with predatory sexual assault against a child, a felony. Forgett is accused of having had sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 13 beginning in 2017. Forgett was previously arrested for disseminating indecent material to a minor in the first degree in 2019, and is a registered sexual offender.

On March 3, State Police charged Philip Spergel, 32, of Clifton Park, with four counts of criminal sex act in the thirddegree and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Spergel is accused of having had sexual contact with a person under the age of 17 in the town of Colonie, and the town of Brunswick.
