Adult Paper Album Scrapbook Class
Turn those pictures from your phone into a beautiful one-ofa-kind scrapbook album. Mary from Memory Makers will show you all the techniques for making an outstanding album to enjoy for years to come. Chicken and Biscuit Dinner Take Out
The Old Stone Church is having its curb side pickup only chicken and biscuit dinner on Saturday, March 25 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. Dinners Include Chicken and Biscuit with Green Beans, Carrots, Peas, Gravy, Cranberry Sauce, and a choice of a slice of pumpkin, apple, or fudge pecan pie all for $12.00. Woodworkers Showcase
The Northeast Woodworkers Association will be celebrating 30 years of presenting one of the premiere woodworking shows in the country at the Saratoga Springs City Center, 522 Broadway, Saratoga Springs on March 25 and 26, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $15, children under 12 free. All areas of the art of woodworking in a dedicated exhibit room featuring over 500 exhibits of original designed fine furniture, wood sculpture, carvings, intarsia, musical instruments, exquisite turnings, toys, accessories and all other things crafted of wood. National and regional trade vendors, offering for sale, wide varieties of wood and woodworking related tools and accessories for all skill levels, many of whom will be demonstrating their products. Malta Spotlighter’s Theatre Troupe announces auditions for ‘The Lady Pirates of Captain Bree’; produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Services; directed by Elyse Young. Auditions are by appointment only – Sunday, March 26 and Monday, March 27. ‘The Lady Pirates of Captain Bree’, a swashbuckling musical comedy set in the late 1800s aboard the merchant ship “Kayla May”, will be performed Saturday, June 17 and Sunday, June 18 on the Malta Community Center Stage. Over 26 speaking and/or singing solo roles are available for kids, teens, and adults. An additional 10-12 ensemble roles will also be cast. ADK Tabletop Day 2023
Adirondacon presents the Tabletop Gaming Convention at the Charles R. Wood theater, Glens Falls on April 1. Game demos, open gaming, large lending library, vendors, door prizes, raffles, and more. Doors open at 9:30 a.m., scheduled gaming 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. Tickets and be purchased at the box office or online at woodtheater. org. The Knights of Columbus Assembly #245 will be hosting a Polka Dance on Sunday, April 2, from 2 - 6 p.m., to benefit the Veterans & Community Housing Coalition (VCHC), Ballston Spa. It will be held at the KOC Hall on 50 Pine Road, Saratoga Springs, music will be provided by Tony’s Polka Band. Admission is $20. There will be food for sale, a silent auction, and an opportunity to help our veterans who have given so much for their country. First Annual Easter Pies and Bake Sale
Simpson United Methodist Church, located at 1089 Rock City Road, Rock City Falls is having an Easter Pies and Bake Sale. We are selling 9” Apple, Blueberry, Cherry, and Peach pies at $12 each. 2nd Annual Awards Ceremony
The trustees and staff of the Saratoga County History Center are thrilled to announce the second annual Saratoga County Public History Award ceremony. The gala event will be held at Brookside Museum in Ballston Spa on April 13 at 7 p.m. The April gala will be both a celebration of the award winners and a preview of the May re-opening of the beloved museum. The Clifton Park Senior Community Center Gallery, 6 Clifton Commons Ct., in Clifton Park and the Southern Saratoga Art Society will be hosting a show during the month of March featuring selected artwork of Shenendehowa High School students. There will be 30 pieces of artwork including a variety of media. The Mechanicville Library, 190 N. Main Street, Mechanicville will feature artist Barbara Hurley. She paints in acrylics, oils, and watercolors. Her exhibit includes portraits in oils and some recent works in Acrylics. Corning Museum of Glass Trip
A one-day trip on Wednesday, April 19, open to the public. Explore this amazing glass museum right in our own backyard. Optional sandblasting workshop available, must pre-register. Lunch on your own at the museum cafe. After the museum, wander around the quaint town of Corning for the afternoon. Member price $80. Non-member price $105. Optional sandblasting workshop- add $14. Vendors Wanted: Annual Spring Craft Fair
The Saratoga-Wilton Elks #161 Auxiliary is holding their Annual Spring Craft Fair on Saturday, April 22 at the Lodge at 1 Elk Lane in Saratoga from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. An eight-foot table and two chairs in a 6 x 8’ space is $40. Admission will be free with ample parking. There are 36 spaces available, and we are accepting a wide variety of crafters on a first come first serve basis.
