Welcome to Community Christian Church. We believe that all people matter to God and, therefore, they matter to us. Because of this, we welcome people from all backgrounds regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. At Community we are striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible, where there is relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, consistent prayer, and compassionate care for those who are in need. In short, we would like to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage our entire community, one life at a time.

So whether you are a spiritual seeker who’s just starting to ask questions about God or a committed Christian who wants to sink the roots of your faith even deeper, you can find a home here at Community Christian Church. Discovering Community is the one class that we hope everyone who attends Community Christian Church will experience. In this class, Pastor Scott will share with you our vision, core values, structure, beliefs and practices, and our future as a church, and will help answer any questions you may have. READY TO DIVE INTO YOUR NEW LIFE WITH JESUS ?

We were made to have a personal relationship with God. However, man has a natural desire to be in control and ignore God’s principles for living, known as sin. Sin breaks our close relationship with God. It causes us to fear God and try to live outside His will. So what’s the solution?

God Himself came to earth as a human being, Jesus Christ, to bring us back to Him.

Baptism shows your obedience to God’s plan for salvation by following the instructions and example set by Jesus. Full immersion baptism illustrates Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. It also represents your new life as a Christian.

At Community, we believe every day is the perfect day to decide to follow Jesus. We have baptistries at both campuses and celebrate baptisms every Sunday, throughout the week by appointment, and at several events throughout the year, including Beach Baptism.

Life is so much better when we find people to share it with. In fact, God created us to be in relationship with each other. That’s what the church is: people pursuing the Kingdom of God… together. This is why we encourage everyone to join a LifeGroup. In combination with our Sunday Worship Services, groups create a Community that will strengthen your belief, help foster belonging, and will encourage you to become who God created you to be.

Rooted

Rooted is a 10 week spiritual journey that will help you better connect to God, the church, and your purpose. Meaningful relationships are formed as you study the Bible, pray, serve, and celebrate the life God has designed for you. We have Rooted Groups for men, women, married couples, and also online. Every Tuesday night the men of Community come together to encourage, laugh, and pray together as we look to better understand and apply the Bible to our everyday lives. Our goal is to connect the men of Community to each other, to help them become fully devoted followers of Christ, and to become the men God intended for them to be. Every Tuesday at 7:00 PM our young adults will gather in the NextGen Building for a time of encouragement in worship and relevant Bible-based messages. Support Groups exist to help navigate difficult seasons in a persons life.

GriefShare is designed for men and women who have lost a loved one. You will walk together with leaders who have navigated grief and will receive resources to help you recover from your loss.

DivorceCare helps people find hope and healing after divorce or separation. Heal together and help one another navigate through this difficult season.

Our goal is that Community Kids would become the best part of your child’s week. We do this by incorporating a three-part vision for our ministry: Laughing – Kids learn best when they are having fun. Learning – We want to make the Bible come to life for kids. Life-Changing – The goal of the Bible is for us to experience life change. SERVING ISN’T AN EVENT, IT’S A LIFESTYLE

At Community, we are shifting our focus when it comes to serving. We strongly believe that serving is a lifestyle and not an event. Therefore, our new Outreach model will reflect that mindset. Don’t worry, we are not getting rid of Community Impact. Instead, Community Impact will be our serving celebration, not the only opportunity to serve those in need in our community.

We are shifting from a quarterly focus to a 365 day a year focus! So, if you decided to serve every week you will now have the resources, connections and opportunity to do so.

The goal of Community’s Mission Trips is to go in the name of Christ, sharing His love in meaningful ways, serving with believers in other cultures, and growing in our own relationship with God.

How can you get involved?

Pray for our trips and our teams! Prayer warriors are always needed when we serve God in this radical way. Send someone! If you have the finances to support a trip but can’t attend yourself, bless someone who has felt the pull but can’t afford the cost. Go on a trip! Say Yes to serving God and loving others in this once-ina-lifetime way!
