CORE CURRICULUM GRAPHIC DESIGN Layout, color, spacing, typography… learn to communicate effectively through your designs. Over two years, you’ll learn design principles that translate to any visual project. We make Movie Posters, Flyers, Logos, and Interfaces, all the while learning technical skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

WEB DESIGN Design and develop standards-compliant, professional web sites that display properly on multiple devices. You’ll learn the fundamentals of planning and managing a project, layout and design, coding and development, and working with clients.

VIDEO Push yourself to create awesome and powerful videos. From the preproduction aspects of video production, all the way through the process of shooting video and editing the footage in a video editor, students will get plenty of experience working in all phases of video production.

ANIMATION Students learn the fundamentals of how to animate characters and scenes.

Students will attain an in-depth knowledge of animation concepts, such as using assets in a library, symbols & instances, working with a timeline, and creating and manipulating keyframes.

BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS OF AMERICA Students apply skills they have learned in class in competitions sponsored by BPA. Competive events include building websites, designing brochures, creating videos, and creating animations.

When we win the region and place in the state, we get to travel to compete nationally.
