P R O F I LE My primary interest in the field of interior design is usability and simplicity. I design with the client’s lifestyle in mind.

I had some unique opportunities for cooperation with relevant clients, such as the company Renault & Room39. However, more important than the name of the company is that I had the opportunity to work with truly interesting people and I think that my collective experience is visible in my work.

ABOUT Sarah Osterc is Slovenian graduated designer in the field of interior design and stylist based in Ljubljana Slovenia.

Geomteric lines, Nordic aesthetics and distinctly different textures are just a few things that Sarah adores and are also strongly represented in her work under the brand SAOSdesign. Sarah work is based mainly around minimalist aesthetcs and outstanding dynamics. Her work mainly involves the interaction between light and dark, monochromatic color scheme, cotrasts and combinations of different materials and textures assembled in a clean and balanced composition.

Her stylings and photos can be found in electronic and printed medias such as : revija Ambient, Room 39, Teja Ideja and many others.

Sarah as a brand ambassador for Room 39 provided both composition & styling as well as photos in accordance with brand image and story.

SAOSdesign As the owner and creative manager of brand SAOSdeisgn, she is open to all the opportunities for collaborations. Not only visual identitiy is given throught photos, but also the way she lives as well as trends in interior design. The brand also needs to be maintained and amplified therefore she appeals to an audience ouside Slovenia through the eponymous blog and online store.

RENAULT

For Renault company Sarah transferred their stories from their photo library into art galleries with content that is consistent with the work in the office.

At her thesis Sarah focused mainly on children and their development as well as the impact of interior design on them. Through the Montessori method she was first in Slovenia to create a model room that grows with the child and allows easy development, while retaining the low cost of renovation.

BACHELOR'S

CONCEPTUAL DESIGN for SOS exhibition solutions LJUBLJANA _SLO

LUWIGANA In the project she made a conceptual solution for an apartment in Ljubljana. The project is designed for a couple who is not planning any childern, however love reading books and they expressed a desire for more storage. Due to more luxurious location spaces are designed a bit more modern, but still keep the home feel.

For a well-known magazine about style and travel, she presented their aesthetics and finished content to a wider audience through a sales window that is in line with the sales material - the magazine.

BRLAN TEVA

Sarah presented the brands Brlan & Teva, and connected their latest collections (spring/summer 2017) as a whole, and in accordance with the story, also brought it closer to the target purchasing group.

SOSexhibition solutions For SOS exhibition solutions company Sarah has designed over 200 stand designs of which many were exhibited at fairs all around Europe. Many of companies returned after first collaboration for her excelent design and end quality of the projects. One of the reasons was also her feel for the clients needs of that particular fair and the limits they had.
