Hello! Nice to meet you.
We are Sarah and Matt, purveyors of illustrated puns and cheeky nature gifts, guaranteed to raise a smile. Our collection began 10 years ago with the ‘Tits’ chart and has kept growing ever since! This design has become a best seller and sits at the heart of our business which aims to entertain, educate and bring out everyone’s playful nature. The ‘Boobies’ chart soon followed and then an array of homewares, gifts and accessories joined the cards and prints on our shelves. We both grew up in the countryside which continues to inspire our work today. Getting out for a walk in the woods or along the beach is often when our ideas are born! Sarah is a self taught artist and also works on projects and commissions with children’s publishers, museums and organisations. Matt’s background is in animation and he now works with Sarah full time on supporting and developing the illustration brand.
The ‘For the Pun of It’ range includes 18 designs (and counting!) which make unique gifts and fun additions to the home and office. They are beautiful, useful and celebrate nature and wordplay. Our creative process involves lots of research, sketches, paint and crayons. The hand drawn elements are brought together digitally to create the finished designs. We then carefully adapt the layout to suit the different products in our collection, all of which are manufactured to a very high standard here in the UK. We champion independent business and have built up our list of stockists with this in mind. Our products are widely sold in gift shops, wildlife trusts and farm shops across the UK and beyond as well as selected online stores. We always welcome new retail partnerships! Oven Gloves Our oven gloves brighten up the kitchen and dining room, whether you’re serving every day meals or entertaining guests. The interior side features the full design while on the exterior the design can be viewed in either direction. Each mug is designed with left and right handers in mind. The title is printed on each side with the artwork wrapping right around the mug. Our mugs are hand finished to a very high standard and are dishwasher and microwave safe. Coasters Our coasters are a product we are truly proud of! Each design has been lovingly adapted to work in a small, square format. They make lovely gifts for celebrations year-round and customers enjoy picking out fun combinations from the collection. Stationery
Our card range has been growing and making people giggle since 2013 and we recently extended our stationery collection with a boxed card set and a trio of recycled notebooks. The cards are popular for all kinds of occasions: birthday greetings, wedding well-wishes and hand written hellos! We produce an annual calendar which features twelve of our favourite and newest puns. It’s a seasonal favourite and best selling Christmas gift.
Our cards make a cheeky display on any shop floor. They’re often mixed and matched with a homeware gift purchase. Prints
Our print collection is where it all started. Inspired by mid-century nature charts, the addition of the pun titles celebrates the double entendres found in nature. The concept raises smiles, a few eyebrows and generally ruffles people’s feathers! Each species of bird, animal, object or food is hand painted separately and then they’re all brought together digitally. This blended approach to the design process gives our collection a clean, crisp look while retaining the warmth and character of the watercolour marks. Our fulfilment warehouse packs and sends all orders on a fully tracked next day service. We aim to process orders within three business days depending on demand at the time.
