PORTFOLIO

ABOUT ME
I have always had a fascination for design, and been quite creative. Throughout this degree my love for architecture and design has grown substantially, giving me a new perspective and appreciation for the thought that goes into creating the perfect space.
I firmly believe that design should first and foremost be about helping others, and I strive to create designs which positively impact people - whether this be physically, mentally or emotionally. I like to design spaces which make people come together and connect in various ways. After all spaces should be created with the users in mind, and people should be encouraged to stay in the spaces we create.
I enjoy learning new things, and am always looking to further my skill set and my knowledge of architecture and design. Over the course of my degree I have learnt many new skills, including design conceptualisation, documentation, visualisation, and rendering techniques which are evident throughout my work. I enjoy being part of a team, and working with others to create beautiful spaces.
My passion for design grows more with each project I complete, and I am excited to see where my future in this industry will take me.

01. KITCHEN RENO
While this kitchen / laundry wasn’t designed by me, I created the documentation and renders for the project. This requires communication with the designer, problem solving skills to fix issues which arise, and techincal thinking to create functional solutions which still fit the brief.
This design was an existing kitchen which was redesigned around the existing nib walls, bulkheads and windows. These restrictions meant that a high level of accuracy was required to make sure that all appliances would fit where specified.

02. KITCHEN RENO
While this kitchen wasn’t designed by me, I created the documentation and renders for the project. This requires communication with the designer, problem solving skills to fix issues which arise, and techincal thinking to create functional solutions which still fit the brief.
This design was a complete knockdown and rebuild of the interior structures in the living areas of this house. The freedom that this allowed, resulted in a design that incorporated an appliance pantry, a wine bar, and luxuriously long benches.

03. KITCHEN RENO
While this kitchen / laundry wasn’t designed by me, I created the documentation and renders for the project. This requires communication with the designer, problem solving skills to fix issues which arise, and techincal thinking to create functional solutions which still fit the brief.
This design presented some challenges, as it was designed in an existing kitchen and laundry, which had some angled corners. Getting this kitchen to be functional whilst making the most of the space required lots of conversations and drafts of the project to be sent to the designer and the client, to ensuire that they would be happy with the final outcome.

NOTE: New Island is to cover existing island footprint. Final Island placement to be confirmed with client on site prior to installation.

04. ENSUITE RENO
During my time working at The Kitchen Collective, I took the opportunity to redesign my parents’ ensuite. Out of all the work I completed during my time at Kitchen Collective, this project has been included because I was heavily involved in most aspects of this project, right from consultation to completion.
The brief for this project was to update the layout of the room to be more user-friendly and spacious. The original layout made it difficult to access the toilet, and had minimal bench space.
The new materials and layout were chosen specifically to create the illusion of a larger space, without resorting to an all-white room. Positioning the basin and the shower along the same wall created more standing space in the room, and added more bench space, storage space, and shower standing room compared to the original design.

Thank you for reading. I hope you have enjoyed this glimpse into a few of my favourite works throughout my years as a designer so far. I look forward to the new and exciting opportunities ahead, and collaborating with others to produce more amazing projects. I can be reached through any of the following, and look forward to hearing from you.
