Dear Parent/Guardian Regrettably, due to the potential industrial action of a number of teachers and support staff on Wednesday 30 November, I am unable to provide the appropriate amount of supervision for students during the day. I am, therefore, closing the school to students next Wednesday. The school will be open as usual on Thursday 1 December. I wish to point out, however, that discussions are still ongoing between the Government and trade unions and, in the event of the day of action being cancelled, the school would be open as normal. Parents/carers will be notified of any changes via the school website. Can I apologise for any inconvenience caused as a result of this industrial action. Yours sincerely
