I love dahlias for a number of reasons. They’re easy to grow and depending on the variety, are ideal for pots, borders and vases. They are good for biodiversity—singles, collerettes and anemoneflowered varieties are loved by butterflies and bees, and they also flower for such a long spell, from July through to late-October.
